3-4 tablespoons Cambodian fermented fish paste 5-6 lemon or lime 10-12 red chili pepper 10-12 kaffir lime leaves 2 cloves garlic-ខ្ទឹមស ½ cup galangal 4 stalks lemon grass 4 crunchy eggplants ¼ cup mint ¼ cup hot mint (Cambodian mint) 3 tablespoons sugar 2 teaspoons chicken soup mix (optional) 1 cup hot water
